The Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is administered by Joyride Games Inc, with address 3790 El Camino Real, Number 1111, Palo Alto, CA 94306 (“Joyride”) and is open to people aged 18 and older where not prohibited by law. Joyride is based in the United States and the Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Terms and Joyride’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Sweepstakes consists of a sweepstakes contest as described in these Official Terms.
JOYRIDE is the sponsor and sole administrator of the Sweepstakes.
Sweepstakes entry begins Apr 12, 2023 at 9 AM PST and ends on June 6, 2023 at 9 AM PST. All winners will be determined prior to June 1st, 2023. All timing for the Sweepstakes will be based on UTC time, and the Polygon blockchain will be the official timekeeping device.
All entrants must sign up for the pre-mint registration at premint.xyz/groopies-raffle-royale. Users who possess Tennis Champs Genesis NFTs in their registration wallet will qualify for 3 entries per NFT possessed. Users without a Tennis Champs Genesis NFT will qualify for a single entry. The entries (in the form of NFTs) will be deposited (aka airdropped) to entrants to the ERC-721 compliant Polygon wallet address that the entrant submitted via Premint.xyz (the “Linked Wallet”).
If more than 30,000 requests for entries into the Sweepstakes are received, the users who are awarded entries will be determined via a priority system. Users with Tennis Champs Genesis NFTs will have highest priority. There are 3,333 Tennis Champs Genesis NFTs in existence, so at maximum, 9,999 entries will be allocated for entry requests from their owners. The remaining entries will be allocated to requesters based on a “priority score” assigned to each request based on their blockchain activity. The explicit goal of this provision is to allocate the exact number of entries needed for the promotion mechanics to function optimally and to award entries fairly among all eligible entrants.
If 30,000 entries are not filled using the methods noted above, the remaining entries will be allocated on a pro-rata basis to entrants above in the order in which the original entry was received (to ensure a minimum of 30,000 entries). The explicit goal of this provision is to allocate the exact number of entries needed for the promotion mechanics to function optimally and to award any excess entries fairly among all eligible entrants.
General Conditions Regarding Entering:
For those entering while holding Tennis Champs Genesis NFTs - the Tennis Champs Genesis NFTs must be possessed by the linked ERC-721 compliant wallet that was specified by the entrant during registration, prior to the end of the . Any NFTs not transferred to the entrant’s Linked Wallet prior to the airdrop will not be considered when determining the number of entries the entrant has qualified for.
Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Joyride is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified.
Possession of the entry NFT is required for claim of potential prize. The entrant may transfer their entry NFT to another wallet, including a wallet owned by another individual. The current owner of the entry NFT is the one who is eligible to claim the prize.
There are (60) prizes in the Sweepstakes, the total value of which is approximately 16,000 USD. Prizes are awarded in the form of USDC tokens on the Polygon blockchain. 1 USDC token has a stable exchange value of approximately 1 USD.
(48) Third Prize winners will receive 50 USDC tokens.
(11) Second Prize winners will receive 300 USDC tokens.
(1) Grand Prize winner will receive 10,300 USDC tokens.
There are equal odds of winning a prize for each entry NFT.
The odds of winning a Third Prize is 1 in 625.
The odds of winning a Second Prize is 11 in 30,000.
The odds of winning the Grand Prize is 1 in 30,000.
Each entry represents a chance to win a specific one of the prizes from Section 5. Each entry is only eligible to win one particular prize. Selection of the winning entry for each prize will occur separately, in the following manner.
There will be (6) elimination rounds (the “Elimination Rounds”). In each Elimination Round, a portion of the entries that were still in the running before that Elimination Round will be randomly eliminated by a blockchain based computer algorithm. The NFTs for eliminated entries will be rendered non-transferrable until the final Elimination Round. Elimination Rounds will continue until there is only one (1) entry that has not been eliminated.
The Elimination Rounds will occur on the following dates. Their execution will be driven by Smart Contract on the Polygon Blockchain. Each Elimination Round will utilize random entropy provided by Chainlink VRF, an industry standard verifiably random source of entropy. After each round is finalized 24 hours must elapse before another unit of entropy may be requested for the subsequent round.
